Jocelyn Cannington

Professional qualifications
B.Comm - Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Commercial Law) - Deakin

Jocelyn grew up on her family’s grain farm in Saskatchewan, Canada and moved to Australia almost ten years ago. She has worked in a variety industries but finally found her passion as an accountant in public practise. Her accounting career in Australian Tax now spans over six years and includes working in both small and large practises including nearly three years within PricewaterhouseCoopers’ tax practise. After much thought she determined that the more personal nature and in particular the culture and values of SAS suited her best. This resulted in her joining the team full time in July 2011.

Outside of work Jocelyn is a keen cook which is often shared with friends and family, especially her husband and their two furry cat children. Since becoming an Aussie, she has also developed a passion for cricket, Aussie Rules (Essendon Bombers) and a cold beer in summer (who is she kidding beer = anytime ). Jocelyn may also be seen on two wheels as she attempts to master this thing they call cycling. She has also set herself a goal of getting some additional stamps in her passport sometime soon.

Rebecca Barrow
 Office Administrator

Bec has been with SAS since July 2014. Her ‘prior life’ saw her spend the last 8 years working mainly in hospitality, from being in cafes serving coffee to people at 6.00AM to being an Assistant Manager at a hotel in the Melbourne CBD.  Looking for a change of pace (and a chair) she opted to cross into office work and the appeal of a professional office was just the change of pace she needed whilst retaining that intimate client/customer relationship role she had already developed and loved thus making it an almost seamless transition.

Outside of work she is a mad keen photographer albeit usually found behind the lens rather than in front of it. She LOVES all animals big and small and presently has two pet bunnies, an adopted kitten as well as many surrogate dogs to cuddle. Bec is often found in the kitchen concocting something new to snack on or just generally baking!  Luckily for Bec, she is also a Bombers supporter so SAS was an even better fit!!  And to relax she thoroughly enjoys a good cup of peppermint tea and a nice glass of wine.
